Regional Land Transport Plan (RLTP) 2024-2034

Closed 14 April 2024

We've got the opportunity to invest in a more resilient transport system for our region. Have your say.

Why we need your feedback

The Regional Land Transport Plan (RLTP) is the region’s plan for investing in Hawke's Bay's transport system, including our local roads and state highways. Our transport system has faced huge challenges and we have a significant rebuild ahead of us.

We need your feedback on what has been proposed, whether we've prioritised large scale projects in the right way, and what you'd like to see as we move into the future.

The proposed plan

We propose investment across the region to achieve:

  • Resilience, secure journeys, and good asset management
  • Efficient and effective transport choice
  • A safe transport system
