Waters and Cemeteries Bylaws (this consultation period has closed)

Bylaws are rules made by local councils which affect the way we live, work and play. Bylaws exist to make our district a safe and healthy place.

Under the Local Government Act 2002, bylaws must be reviewed at least every 10 years. Reviewing bylaws is an opportunity for members of the public to have input and ensures the bylaws are kept up to date and reflective of the community.

The consultation period for the Cemeteries and Waters Bylaws will run from Tuesday March 22 to Friday April 22 and is now closed with public hearings and deliberations set down for Tuesday May 3 and Wednesday May 4.
